YIELD French Press Brew Guide


Brew Time: 4:00 Minutes
Temperature: 96°C (205°F)
Coffee: 50g (10tbsp)
Water: 0.85L (3.75 cup)
Grind: Coarse

Brewing Instructions:

Step 1: Grind beans to a coarse and even ground. Preheat the press by pouring hot water inside. Plunge once and rinse.

Step 2: Pour all coffee grinds into the French Press carafe. Recommended 2tbsp of coffee per 6oz of water.

Step 3: Pour hot water (about 205°F or 96°C) into the carafe and fill about halfway to allow the coffee to bloom for exactly 1 minute.

Step 4:
 After the coffee has bloomed for 1 minute, stir the coffee that's in the press, fill the remaining half and place lid. Set your timer for 3 minutes.

Step 5:
 After the timer rings, press the plunger down firmly but slowly. Decant brewed coffee from the French Press to avoid a bitter brew.
