ABOUT THE PRODUCER
The Kayanza province is in the northern part of Burundi, close to the border of Rwanda, located at an altitude of 1800m. Kayanza has a reputation of being one of the best coffee producing regions in Burundi. It’s also known for being the water source of the Nile River. Due to Kayanza's high altitude, the coffee that is grown here has a high level of acidity that is mixed with a fruity-sweetness. It has good body together with a long and very sweet aftertaste.
